Buddhist Hardware · I was in Home Depot, which is an intense kind of place. People look at the shelves intensely, they talk to each other intensely, and they talk to the orange aprons really intensely, with direct eye contact.

I was in the Door Section, and this little Buddhist monk was talking to a big beefy orange-apron guy. The monk was clearly not a vow-of-poverty kind of monk, per the golden glisten of his red/orange/yellow robes.

I was out of earshot for most of the conversation, but the monk was ending a fairly extended speech as I got into range. The beefy orange apron scratched his head and said "Well, for a temple you'd need..." I didn't catch the rest.
